Associate Director - Audit & Control

This role will serve as the Audit & Control leader for Project Aurora. This role is expected to partner with global and regional Audit & Control teams and across Project Aurora team to build an effective blueprint integration template for new capabilities to enable a standard, automated and agile process. This role will lead the model design leveraging the full capabilities of SAP S4 Hana, surround systems and other advanced capabilities. This role will provide thought leadership and vision to create an enhanced future state of the Audit & Control processes environment that will serve to enable agile and responsive planning, benchmarking, and tracking for better decision making. The role will lead a team of business user experts, highly skilled and knowledgeable in the Audit & Control processes.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Develop the integration strategy between selected planning tools, the new core ERP (SAP S4 Hana) and other systems (Supply chain planning, reporting and analytics, etc.) to create global/regional/local environments across multiple planning horizons with the ability to perform scenario analysis.
  • Partner with Global and Regional Audit & Control teams to ensure that the blueprint design is fully aligned with the Simple/Leaner/Faster aspirations and digital transformation needs.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and FP&A to create the global template, for the Audit & Control processes within SAP S4 and any surround systems required leveraging advanced capabilities such as ML/AI/RPA.
  • Lead the Project Aurora Audit & Control team of business user experts.
  • Lead and work collaboratively with Supply Chain and FP&A on the set up of the enterprise system’s Audit & Control model to create the right analytical capabilities/financial framework to manage business operations.
  • Ensure that the blueprint will enable an optimized End-2-End process across all company functions.
  • Ensure that the data-set and analytics will enable meaningful insights and advanced capabilities
  • Ensure design leverages to the fullest automation of processes and ML/AI/RPA to support advanced analytics and decision making.
  • Provide direction and oversight to Project Aurora team resources including third party partners for the multi-phases of program from feasibility to deployment and execution.
  • Responsible for delivery of Audit & Control digital blueprint and process design template for Project Aurora initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Work with other Global Process Owners on program in FP&A, Tax & Treasury, Cost, and Data, Insight & Analytics to the ensure a seamless integration of data requirements to support the end-to-end planning process.
  • Lead all activities of the Audit & Control workstream on project Aurora, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of requirements definition documents, test scripts for build validation and metrics definition for evaluating effectiveness of design build.
  • Lead development of Audit & Control training documentation and training environment. Ensure timely delivery of training and validation of training completeness.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher. Preferred fields include Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or Business Management.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • 3+ years of Team Leader experience; international experience is preferred.
  • Leadership experience in Audit & Control and knowledgeable of the uses of automation to leverage for integration with enterprise environments such as SAP S4 and other surround systems.
  • Track record of project delivery success that should include: System Implementation / Integration, cost savings, process improvement
  • Demonstrated capability in making timely, difficult decisions to ensure critical business needs and timelines are met
  • Experience in supplier management, Project Management, Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills, examples of effective teamwork, a track record of consistently meeting deadlines and due dates
