This opp! ortunity will be working in our Orthpaedics Service Line  At Ministry Health Care, we offer employees a progressive environment to practice their profession, along with value based leadership and opportunities to learn and grow. Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital is a high-tech, high-touch teaching facility with state-of -the-art procedure and equipment. Our surgery department is a 16 suite unit providing 24 hour service. There are 4 service lines; Orthopaedics, Cardiovascular, General/GYN/Urology and Neurology/Plastics. Surgical Technologists are hired specifically for one service line and trained into all 4 lines due to on call flexibility.  As a Surgical Technologist, you will demonstrate second circulating and first scrubbing skills. Techs helps set up the operating room, prepare and transport patients for surgery, pass instruments and other supplies to surgeons, prepare room turnover and act as a preceptor to new employees for training and orientation purpo! ses. Inservice education programs are required to keep current! on all new operative procedures and skills.  This position will be working in our Orthopaedics service line.  This role will be scheduled 36 hours per week on a variable schedule including day and evening shifts. There are also on call responsibilities that average 2 nights per week and every 6th weekend, and a holiday rotation.  Apply Now!
