As aFiller/Strainer, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Key Responsibilities
- Follows all safety procedures and works to continuously improve safety in the plant and work areas.
- Communicate with other production team members to ensure production priorities and product sequencing goals are met.
- Conducts inventory checks and communicates information critical to packaging inventory management.
- Replenish and manage inventory related to packaging supplies like pallets, stretch wrap, containers and other packaging materials as needed.
- Reconciles production plan with actual filled container counts and documents materials consumed.
- Connects hoses and uses pump and filter systems to transfer finished paint products to production lines.
- Is responsible of operating and cleaning equipment integral to filling and packaging operations.
- Operates automated filling a packaging equipment including label machines, container marking systems, automated fillers, automatic lid placing equipment, case and tray packaging machines and robotic palletizing systems.
- Follows detailed filling production orders with detailed attention to label requirements, pallet requirements, and fill quantity requirements. Records information on production tickets with clarity.
- Daily disposal of cardboard and site waste in designated containers.
- Complete regular inspection of equipment, maintain clean and neat work area and assist others as needed.
- Maintains housekeeping standards and performs cleaning as assigned including daily trash and cardboard duties.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to understand and carry out instructions in written and verbal English is required.
Lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and 80 pounds on an occasional basis.
Required to physically lift, grasp, and move packaging supplies and finished goods products as needed.
Must be able to perform basic math calculations to ensure filling production orders are executed as communicated and quality parameters for packaging are met.

Ability to work in a team environment and take ownership over area of responsibility.
Must have ability to understand and carry out instructions issued in written and verbal English.
Must have ability to complete required safety training.
Must have interpersonal skills to work in a positive manner in a team atmosphere.
Ability to use computers and understand basic labeling bar code principles.
Wear protective gear including but not limited to: gloves, safety glasses, and other PPE including respirators as required.
