Physician/Program Mangers! (General Internal Medicine or Family Practice)

The Zablocki VA Medical Center is recruiting for a Physician/Program manager (General Internal Medicine or Family Practice) to oversee the primary care medical services at the Clinical-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC's) in Appleton, WI (John H. Bradley VA Clinic) and Cleveland, WI. The incumbent will serve as the Physician/Program Manger in Primary Care for the Appleton and Cleveland VA Outpatient Clinics with the primary duty station in Appleton. Candidates with a proven track record in leadership, success in managing clinical outcomes, and a high interest in health care administration are encouraged to apply. Prior supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is required. VA or other federal healthcare supervisory experience is preferred. Prior medical home panel management experience in the private sector or PACT experience in the VA is preferred. Duties include supervising physicians, nurse practitioners, physici! an assistants, PharmDs, and other healthcare providers as deemed necessary. The incumbent may participate in meetings with the Zablocki VA Medical Center leadership in Milwaukee, WI. Ability to travel within VISN 12 and, on occasion, nationally is required. The John H. Bradley VA Clinic (Appleton, WI) offers a full-spectrum of Primary Care, Women's Health, Optometry, and podiatry services. These services are in addition to the full spectrum of comprehensive health care at the main facility in Milwaukee, WI.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:BASIC REQUIREM ENTS:
U.S. citizenship. Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.

D egree of doctor of medicine or an eq! uivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or ost! eopathic medicine.

Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
Prior Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is required.
VA or other federal healthcare supervisory experience is preferred.
