A 25-bed Critical Access hospital serving rural Wisconsin and surrounding towns is searching for a Manager of Emergency Services. The h! ospital's medical staff is a small group of dedicated primary care physicians and a surgeon who work with a consultant medical staff of various specialties. Services include 24 hour emergency care, paramedic-level ambulance service inpatient and outpatient surgery, medical and surgical inpatient care, Swing bed Program, home care and hospice, comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative outpatient services, a child day care center, and a variety of community outreach programs.
Brief Job Description
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the department including the coordination of personnel, facilities and resources in an efficient cost effective manner to meet customer needs. Assessing and evaluating quality of care, work performance and competency of staff.
Requirements for position
Current Wisconsin RN License
A graduate of a diploma, associate degree, or baccalaureate program in nursing. A ! bachelor's or graduate degree in nursing, business or a relate! d healthcare field preferred.
Certified in Emergency Nursing preferred.
Three years experience as a staff nurse, with at least one-year experience in an Emergency Department environment.
Previous experience in a management role preferred.
Well Organized and excellent teamwork.
