Description: Marshfield Clinic is hiring General Surgery - Hyperbaric/WOund right now, this occupation will be placed in Wisconsin. Further informations about this occupation opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Marshfield Clinic-Marshfield Center is seeking a Wound Healing/Hyperbaric Medicine surgeon. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for the pe! rformance and application of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to chronic non-healing wounds. The successful applicant is well educated in pathogenesis, pathology, risk factors, natural history, diagnosis by history, physical examination and laboratory methods, medical and surgical management, complications and prevention of chronic non-healing wounds, (including neuropathic, ischemic, pressure, venous, calciphylactic, iatrogenic and other causes). The individual will be also skilled in surgical techniques of wound debridement and wound closure.

The qualifications for this position include 3 years of wound healing experience and Certification by the American Board of Surgery. Surgical Critical Care training a plus. In addition to clinical skills, the individual must possess excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication and professionalism with an emphasis on integrity, a commitment to excellence and ethical principles of clinical care. The abi! lity to exercise confidentiality of patient information, infor! med consent, business practices and demonstration of respect and regard for the needs of the patient are of utmost importance. EHR computer literacy required. Certification in basic hyperbaric medicine by attending a UHMS certified course will be required prior to or shortly after hire.
