A Physician Assistant is a skilled member of the allied health care team who provides patient services under the supervision of a licensed physician and in accordance with Chapter M! ed. 8 of Wisconsin statutes.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Graduate, or eligible to obtain, from an approved educational program for physician assistants. Education must be from a school that is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission of Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc. (ARC-PA) or a program in the organization's provisional pathway.
(Education qualifications must be from a school whose accreditation is recognized by Marshfield Clinic.)
License/Certification: Current certification, or eligible to obtain, by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Current licensure, or eligible to obtain, to practice as a physician assistant issued in the state of Wisconsin.
Experience:

Thi! s is a condition of employment.
