Imagine yourself … as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiopulmonary Rehab unit… Providing rehabilitation of cardiac and pulmonary patients. Providing patient education to complete rehabilitation efforts. Completing initial Assessment of patient’s cardiopulmonary needs in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Conducting individual and group sessions of exercise, education, nutrition in collaboration with respiratory therapists and exercise physiologist. Communicating with cardiologist, cardiovascular surgeons, and pulmonologist regarding patient’s conditions, orders, and plan of care. Experience with cardiac patients and therapy of Phase 1, 2, and 3 required. General Qualifications Wisconsin Registered Nurse Licensure or eligibility required. Desired Qualifications Cardiac background highly desired.
Inpatient and outpatient Cardio pulmonary experience is preferred.
