The Cosmetic Services Program Specialist is responsible for effective coordination of the cosmetic program including, duties of the Patient Coordinator, program development and growth. This position is responsible for assuring an patient experience and exceptional customer service. The Cosmetic Services Program Specialist works with providers and staff to plan, develop, and implement changes to existing processes to meet current and future services needs. This position is accountable for managing day to day office functions and business services functions, and basic accounting functions. Decision making in order to manage daily functions and work toward continuous improvement in a team environment is a crucial element of this position.
Qualifications:Required:
Bachelor's degree with 3 or more years of relevant experience; OR a high school graduate with 2 years of additional schooling and/or training and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Proven critical thinking and problem solving abilities, including resolving complex problems requiring innovative solutions. Ability to present oneself and one's ideas with clarity, confidence and poise. Preferred: Experience with program development and marketing. Experience with a medical office practice and associated data collection analysis. Previous experience in specialty assigned. Responsibilities: Manage the Aesthetic Surgery Center Consultation office, which will include day to day operations. Work collaboratively with cosmetic surgeons and other providers, along with Marketing and Clinical Operations, to create a seamless and expansive cosmetic services program. In conjunction with the Clinical Manager and providers develop business plans, including sales expectations and competitor analysis, to promote and grow the Dean Cosmetic Surgery Program. Update annually and report progress. Work in conjunction with appropriate staff to ensure the patient's experience is well coordinated and that pre-operative and post-operative care exceeds patient expectations. Develop, implement, and continually evaluate a cosmetic patient education program that ensures service excellence and coordination of care. Stay current with emerging industry trends and lead continuous quality improvement and evaluation of service offerings. Perform basic accounting functions related to purchasing and invoice reconciliation. Develop, implement and oversee the client database and contact system. Performs other duties as assigned.
