Days Inn by Wyndham in Enterprise is looking for friendly, hard working people to join our team.
Preferable to have experience in housekeeping/room attendant. On the job training is available. Able to
work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work a flexible/rotating schedule; including working
all required weekends and holidays. Ability to assist guests and co-workers in a helpful, positive,
professional and friendly manner. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our
guests.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Maintain a crisp, clean and professional appearance daily adhering to grooming and uniform
standards.
● Provides excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner; following Days
Inn by Wyndham standards of friendly hospitality while adhering to guidelines and procedures.
● Is responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms as well as the usage and organization of
supplies.
● Sorts, counts, and stocks housekeeping supplies your cart needs for rooms each day.
● Must be able to clean multiple rooms daily-including (changing lines, empty wastebaskets,
making beds, dusting, wipe out all drawers, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, clean
mirrors, polishing furniture and fixtures, clean microwave and refrigerator).
● Wash windows and sills (inside and out), door panels, clean A/C filters (if necessary), and wash
A/C top and front.
● Replenish supplies such as drinking cups, writing supplies, Do Not Disturb signs, etc.
● Replenishes bathroom supplies. Replaces light bulbs or remote batteries if necessary.
● Completes a quality check on the television, telephone, A/C, and smoke detectors.

● Removes any items left behind from the room and takes them to Lost and Found and follows
proper hotel procedure.
● Reports any maintenance related problems to the front desk so it may go through the proper
communication channels to the maintenance department.
● Transports trash and waste to the designated disposal area.
● Maintain the supply room in a clean, neat, and organized state.
Skills:
● Maintain designated minutes per room.
● Display a team attitude and assist co-workers when the need arises.
● Acknowledgement and a pleasant greeting given to each and every guest.
● Assist with guest issues, being professional and maintaining a hospitable caring attitude.
● Must display professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness at all times.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
● Firm and simple grasping are required for all aspects of work. Reaching is required up to 80% of
the time, and may be combined with other activities such as pushing, pulling, and bending in all
phases of work. Overhead reaching is limited to 20% of the time. Pushing and pulling movements
are required approximately 60% of the time for dusting, sweeping, mopping, moving supply carts
and making beds, etc. Lifting of supplies (linens, trash bags, etc.) occurs on a regular basis, but
rarely exceeds 25 pounds. The maximum weight lifted is 40 pounds. Standing and walking
around the property up to 100% of the time. Bending is required up to 80% of the normal work
period while performing essential tasks. Crouching, kneeling, stooping and squatting are required
for approximately 20% of the time, particularly when cleaning bathroom fixtures and facilities.
Crawling or working from the knees is required occasionally, usually less than 5% of the time.
Exposure to extreme weather conditions, cold and heat.
