Animal Wellness Centers, a multi-location veterinary practice, is looking to hire a part-time or full-time Veterinarian (DVM / VMD) to join our team.
We have FOUR Milwaukee area practices that offer our clients a list of comprehensive services including D.R. x-ray for dental and full body imaging, in-house blood work, surgeries, dental cleanings and extractions and general wellness care. Full Time Veterinarian compensation includes a very competitive annual salary and benefits package. Great growth potential.
All clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8AM-6PM with ½ day Saturday.

Shift : This position(s) will include morning and mid-day shifts; with some half-day Saturday shift duties required. NO NIGHTS.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Doctorate degree in veterinary medicine, licensed to practice in Wisconsin. Minimum 3 years of clinical practice experience required.
- MUST be computer literate and experienced with Vet medical softwares
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required.
- Maintain a positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift patients and carry equipment up to 50 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 50 pounds with assistance
- Endure sitting, standing and walking on hard floor surfaces for extended periods
- Type information for patient records and prescription labels into the computer
- Able to work in noisy work conditions with sounds from animals and equipment
- Take safety precautions for exposure to toxins, drugs, anesthesia and radiation
- Some travel between clinics will be required.
