Graduate of a state accredited school of practical nursing and holding current Wisconsin Licensure.
Minimum of one (1) year experience as an LPN preferred.
Demonstrates flexibility in scheduling to meeting the needs of the patient, physician and practice site. Ability to utilize effective communication in patient/staff/physician relationships. Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers is required. Must be willing to float.
Description:
The LPN is a patient caregiver who under the direct supervision of a RN/provide! r, delivers basic nursing care to patients in the ambulatory c! are setting. The LPN delivers care that is sensitive to the unique needs of the ages served by the department. Maintains responsibility for the performance of simple acts in the care of uncomplicated, stable patients as directed by the RN/provider. The LPN also assists with tasks necessary for the general organization and operation of a physician practice/department.
This position will work 40 hours/week during daytime hours and is eligible for full-time benefits.
This position will float to all areas in the Atrium office, particularly surgery and urology.
