Physician (Hematologist/Oncologist)

We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist with the following experience and qualifications:

  • Sustained experience as an Assistant professor of Hematology and Oncology at a U.S. Medical School
  • Must qualify for Assistant professorship at Medical College of Wisconsin
  • Three year U.S. Internal Medicine Residency Program
  • Three year U.! S. Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology
  • Board Certifiations in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology preferred.
  • Extensive U.S. experience in treating benign and malignant diseases of the small intestines, colon, rectum and anus; breast cancer; esophageal, pancreatic and gastrointestinal cancers; lung cancer; solid tumors; and thoracic cancers.
  • Previous experience in design and management of clinical trials in lung cancer in the Veteran population.
  • Prior VA experience is preferred. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

U.S. citizenship. Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.

D egree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.

Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwea! lth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
