The Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide specialized intra-operative nursing in an Ambulatory Surgery setting including assessment, interpretation, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the medical plan of ca! re into nursing activity. Will develop the perioperative care plan for the patient, family, and staff based on their individual complex needs. This position requires nursing care decisions as well as consultation and referral to appropriate team members.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred.
(Education qualifications must be from a school whose accreditation is recognized by Marshfield Clinic.)
License/Certification: Current RN licensure within the State of Wisconsin. CPR certification required. ACLS certification required within one year of start date. AORN membership preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three years of progressive nursing experience or certification in the field of operating room nursing preferred. One year of operating room experience preferred within this three years of progressive nursing experience. Operating room experienc! e as a preceptor, intern, or Nurse Technician will be consider! ed.
