Marshfield Clinic- Ladysmith Center is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician to join the Emergency Department staff covering the Rusk County Memorial Hospital ! in Ladysmith. This is a single coverage Emergency Medicine practice. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Emergency Medine or Family Medicine, have at least 3 years of Emegency Medicine experience and have the skills and training necessary to initiate care in all fields of medicine.
ATLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
Shift scheduling model
6 - 24 hour shifts per month to equal 1700 work hours/year.

Located adjacent to Marshfield Clinic â€" Ladysmith Center, is Rusk County Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home. This critical access hospital houses all facets of medical needs to service a county population of app! roximately 17,000 people. In addition to a Medical/Surgical Un! it, Intensive Care Unit and Birth Center, they offer comprehensive Surgical Services, Emergency Care, Urgent Care, and Extended Care Services.
About the Ladysmith Area
Ladysmith is a contemporary community of 4,500 located on the scenic and recreational Flambeau River in Rusk County. Adjacent communities bring the area’s population to about 6,000 and the service area of the Clinic and Rusk County Memorial Hospital to around 28,000. Ladysmith provides it residents top quality education. Located in the Ladysmith-Hawkins School District are three schools. Recreationally, Ladysmith serves as a gateway to Indianhead County-an area known for its fishing, hunting, canoeing, snowmobiling, and other outdoor fun.
