Under general direction, perform routine and advanced administrative duties for the Foot and Ankle Service requiring consi! derable skill and in-depth knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL ! DUTIES
1.
Anticipate and initiate action reg! arding administrative detail. Completeand coordinate patient related forms in a timely manner.
2.
Compose general correspondence as needed with supervisor approval.
Prepare and compose confidential correspondence.
3.
Schedule new patient appointments and prepare new patient correspondence as needed. Ensure timely communication to referring physicians.
4.
Use complex functions of a variety of computer applications and software packages, including EpicCare and Epic Cadence, Microsoft Word and Excel. Maintain programs and troubleshoot problems as needed.
5.
Provide software support including revising existing documents for proper format and grammar.
Proofread documents for accuracy and correctness.
6.
Screen telephone calls and visitors and resolve more complex inquiries.
7.
Coordinate calendar of events, appointments, meetings,
travel itinerar! ies and related arrangements.
8.
Research, collect and compile data; prepare special reports.
This may include academic accomplishments for curriculum vitae, data analyis for research projects, etc.
9.
Distribute incoming mail and process outgoing mail. Organize and maintain file system.
Maintain records. Maintain office equipment such as changing toner in printer, copier and fax machine. Order office supplies.
10.
Lead role in coordination of special projects; coordinate activities and keep track of current status/progress.
OTHER DUTIES
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
5 years of progressively responsible administrative support experience
