We are looking for a companion for Leah who is 38 yrs. young & acts more like s teenager. She is bright, funny and very right brained. She has Cerebral Palsy & a feeding tube and is pretty much non-verbal, but easy! to understand when you know her.
Sometimes she has seizures but they are well controlled with meds. Some lifting or use of a hoyer is required as well as some personal care. Hours are flexible; right now looking for 12 to 16 hrs. per week.
More when Mom and Dad have upcoming surgery. You may be riding Metrolift and attending programs in Waukesha with Leah; we may be going on outings with friends, or you may be working on projects with Leah at home. Our helpers love this job and often become like family members to us. Then you get to go on vacations too!
