Job Summary: Assis! ts the surgeon, the registered nurse, and the anesthesiologist in the care of patients in the Operating Room and/or GI/Bronch Lab.
Experience: Clinical rotations provided by surgical technologist program is required. Three years of current experience as a surgical technologist is required.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program and completion of formal surgical assistance course is required.
Licensure: Certified surgical technologist (CST) is preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
