Day Surgery Coordinator

Description: Children's Hospital & Health System is currently seeking to employ Day Surgery Coordinator right now, this occupation will be placed in Wisconsin. Plans, coordinates, and directs the daily activities of the 3rd floor pre-operative area in the most efficient and cost effective manner. Provides leadership t! o support the Day Surgery staff and other surgical staff. Collaborates with the Operative Coordinator, anesthesia staff and physicians to provide the service and supplies needed for high quality peri-operative care.
Bachelor's degree in nursing; current licensure to practice nursing in the state of Wisconsin. CPR certification and 3-5 years clinical nursing experience.
Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving skills in order to resolve complex clinical, system and personnel problems and issues. Communication interpersonal skills which frequently involve collaborating with peers, supervisors on policy and procedural matters.
Monday through Friday - Monday start time 0645-0700 Tues.- Fri. start time of 0545/0600
