Full time ICU Registered Nurse â€Â" experience required!
 We have an opportunity for an experienced RN in our state-of-the-art
ICU department. Â This is a part time, variable shift opportunity for a strong team player who truly wants to put patients first in everything they do.Â

Howard Young Medical Center, located in the heart of the Northwoods in beautiful Woodruff, Wisconsin, is a place where patients really do come first. Some of the main duties include: Being accountable for the delivery of individualized age-specific care related to their discipline. Incorporating current clinical knowledge with established nursing practice in performing intervention utilizing the nursing process. Performing accurate assessment of patient and family with appropriate documentation of data. Organizing and analyzing multi-system data to identify basic and complex health care needs, applying holistic and integrated knowledge base to reflect the priority of identified problems/needs. Developing and documenting individualized, comprehensive and outcome oriented plan of car! e including teaching needs and discharge assessment. Prioritizing the delivery of nursing care using time and resources effectively. Facilitating and providing goal directed patient care associated with care protocols and or collaborative multidisciplinary plans of care. Delegating or referring aspects of care to health team members consistent with their roles, responsibilities and competence. Evaluating patient response to care, overall progress toward desired outcomes, and the effectiveness of nursing care over the period of time, from a single shift to several days. Using the medical record as a communication tool to document care/services provided, the plan of care and patient's progress toward goal achievement. Organizing, adjusting and completing assignments within an appropriate time frame based on changing department needs and patient caseload.
