JOB TITLE: Processing Technician - POOL Position Purpose To provide effective and efficient customer service by maintaining quality and aseptic control procedures in a continuing effort to prevent and control the spread of infection, and provide the right item at the right time, in the right condition, to the right place Responsibilities -Decontaminates-Inspects -Assembles-Packages -Sterilizes and distributes general surgical instrumentation-Equipment-Case carts and supplies required for the delivery of safe and effective patient care throughout CSM clinical areas -Must be able to travel between Milwaukee and Ozaukee Qualifications -HS diploma, additional education preferred -At least 5 years in Health Care Sterile Processing or related field preferred.-Experience in all Central Processing Operations -Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of microbiology, decontamination, sterilization, and infection control is preferred -Certification in Sterile Processing preferred.
