Job Description - Registered Nurse- Surgical Services-Casual Call (120007O) Job Description Registered Nurse- Surgical Services-Casual Call-120007O Description Ministry Door County Medical Center, a critical access facility in northeast Wisconsin, has served the health care needs of the Sturgeon Bay/Door County area since 1943. The hospital offers a full range of acute care services and specialties, as well as a skilled nursing facility for long-term care and rehabilitation services. Three-fourths of the organization's business is comprised of clinical and outpatient services and reaches out to locations throughout Door County and northern Kewaunee County. Some key services include cardiac rehabilitation, a cancer/radiation oncology treatment center, comprehensive diagnostics, physical, occupational and speech therapy centers, respiratory care/rehab/sleep disorders center, a new outpatient surgical center, emergency/urgent care services and new units for medical/surgical care, ICU and the birthing center.
Duties- Responsible for comprehensive goal-oriented care of patients as directed by physician orders; this includes patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, care planning, implementation, intervention, and evaluation of treatment. Qualifications Job Requirements Education Required: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Wisconsin Related Years of Experience Required:Surgical or OR experience preferred, two years of Medical/Surgical experience required. Credential/Licensure Required: CPR Certification; ACLS Certification Shift- Casual Call hours, meaning works as needed. No set schedule.
