Description: Jackson & Coker is in need of INTERNAL MEDICINE right now, this occupation will be placed in Wisconsin. The VA Medical Center is in need of 2 locum tenens Internal Medicine/ Family Practice Physicians to provide Primary Care to general medicine patients at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Wisconsin. The approximate number of patients that the contractor will be caring for is 1200.
The contractor must provide appropriate patient education, including but not limited to information about the patient’s specific disease or condition; anatomy and physiology, expectations of patients compliance, and medication administration actions and reactions.
All the traditional VA requirements apply: background checks, computer skills, computerized record keeping, updated shot record and physical prior to start.
Requirements:
Any state license
BC or BE
BLS
Computer Skills
Background Check
Updated Shot record.
This assignment will commence on the date of award and continue for 6 months. Working Monday through Friday, daytime hours. There will be NO on-call requirements.
